The resurgence of the natural hair movement prompted me to reflect on my own experience. One weekend in 2018, I resolved to be good to my hair and the environment by improving my understanding of hair care.

My goal became clear: my hair needed the optimum nutrients to develop. It was surprisingly easy because some of the most helpful elements were already buried in a vast array of hair products tucked in my hair care cubby.
